Afaco is a company specialized in energy renovation. Our expertise allows us to support our clients throughout their projects, from the energy audit to the completion of the work.
We are proud to have many partnerships with government agencies and energy suppliers, enabling us to provide our clients with subsidies that cover part or all of the cost of the renovation project.
AFACO’s commitment to social inclusion includes partnerships with employment agencies, local authorities, social landlords and associations. AFACO supports the « Social Clauses » system. Our company promotes local employment by implementing a professional integration policy targeting young people looking for work. AFACO provides them with work hours on its construction sites, thus promoting access to employment.
AFACO promotes the employment of people experiencing difficulties in finding work. We have taken concrete measures within the framework of the « Youth Guarantee », with more than twenty new hires in the construction and public works sectors, entrepreneurship, communication, digital, sales, accounting and supply-chain…
AFACO offers apprenticeship contracts, internships and professional training. Our network of professionals is also available to provide training and career guidance.
Waste management on construction sitess
A study is carried out before starting any project to identify the type of waste generated by the renovation works. This study allows us to determine the type of container we will need.
The generated low-volume waste will be collected and sorted daily on site in waterproof rubble bags. The waste will be removed weekly.
Bulkier waste will be sorted and disposed of in appropriate dumpsters. We prefer storage or incineration among the different waste management methods, but we always try to find the most environmentally friendly solution.
Large volume waste (cardboard, film, etc.) is compressed and bound to reduce its size and reduce the risk of it flying away.
Waste likely to absorb water (paper, cardboard, mineral wools, vegetable insulation, etc.) is stored away from the rain to avoid excessive weight and deterioration that would prevent recycling.
Here is a list of the types of waste and their recycling methods:
The storage of the different wastes is organized on a unique collection area where it will be stored in different containers according to their category.
Specific signage will be displayed in the storage area so that all site workers can sort the waste.
We express our willingness to improve the environmental quality of buildings by being involved in the planning phase. Our goal is to meet the 15 targets of the HQE regulation below.
